Essence Black Women in Music 2012: Kelly Rowland Honored, Eve Joins

Kelly Rowland attended the 3rd annual Essence Black Women in Music event Wednesday night (Feb. 8) in Hollywood and was honored for her achievements in the music industry alongside record label veteran Sylvia Rhone.

Dressed in a flowing orange gown, the former Destiny's Child member was joined by her one-time group mate Michelle Williams, who supported her friend's accomplishments. Rowland performed hits like 'Motivation' during the festivities and was accompanied by rap star Eve for one special song. The latter showcased her rhyming talents on the duo's joint track 'Like This,' featured on Rowland's 2007 LP, 'Ms. Kelly.'
