Lil Wayne will be launching his first signature shoe line. TheYoung Money rapper told VIBE that, while he's not planning on sharing too many details too early, the shoe line will not be a part of his Trukfit Fashion imprint. Jim Jones Arrested, Charged With Assaulting Cop During Connecticut Casino Brawl

Connecticut State Police spokesman J. Paul Vance has confirmed at least part of the story, telling the Associated Press that the 35-year-old MC was picked up at the Foxwoods Resort Casino and charged with assault on a police officer and breach of peace. He posted bond and was subsequently released.
While neither Jones nor the hotel have commented, a source tells TMZ that the trouble began as the Harlem rhymer was walking through the casino following Diddy's soiree at the MGM Grand.

West Coast shock rap collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All have released the trailer for their upcoming TV show "Loiter Squad." The show, which is being broadcast by Adult Swim, has been described as "...a mixture of 'Jackass' and 'Chappelle’s Show.'" The show is set to premiere on March 25th. Dickhouse, the production company behind MTV's early 2000s hit "Jackass," is producing the series. Jeff Tremaine and Adult Swim's Nick Widenfield are also serving as executive producers for the show. |

George Lopez To Star In And Produce Comedy Series For Debmar-Mercury
George Lopez is returning to the family sitcom genre. I’ve learned that Lopez, star, co-creator and executive producer of multi-camera sitcom George Lopez, which ran on ABC for six seasons and 120 episodes, has closed a deal in principal with Lionsgate TV subsidiary Debmar-Mercury to co-create and star in a new multi-camera comedy about a Latino family. Lopez will executive produce the series with his manager, 3 Arts’ Michael Rotenberg. Upon finalizing the deal, Lopez and Debmar-Mercury, who both declined comment, are expected to begin a search for a showrunner. The project will be developed and produced under Debmar-Mercury’s 10-90 model, in which the company sells sitcoms to cable networks with an initial 10-episode straight-to-series order, which, if meeting a ratings target, triggers a multi-season order as big as 90 episodes. The goal is for Debmar-Mercury to quickly amass enough episodes for the sitcom’s launch in broadcast syndication, area where Lopez has been successful. While never a major hit in its original run on ABC, George Lopez has enjoyed a strong afterlife in syndication. A decade after its ABC premiere, the show continues to do well in primetime on cable, Nick at Nite and a Spanish-language version on MTV’s Tr3s, and in the afternoon in broadcast syndication. Bringing her stunning beauty to the red carpet, Natalie Portman turned up for the 84th Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (February 26).

Michelle Williams Wins Best Actress at the 2012 Spirit Awards
Making for another moment to remember forever, Michelle Williams had a triumphant experience at the 2012 Film Independent's Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 25).
Taking to the Santa Monica beach venue, the 31-year-old actress looked gorgeous in Louis Vuitton as she spent time with Busy Philipps on the purple carpet ahead of the annual beachfront event.
During the festivities, Miss Williams ended up being doted with Best Female Lead honors for her work as Marilyn Monroe in "My Week with Marilyn".
Offering up a heartfelt speech, Michelle thanked the "roomful of misfits, dropouts, loners ... like me" for selecting her as the prestigious winner.
The 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards will air at 10:00 ET on IFC with Seth Rogen handling the hosting duties.
