| Rappers Surprise Award Show Crowd
The BET Awards taped in Atlanta this weekend at the Civic Center, and the star-studded event was not without its share of surprises--most notably, two recently-released rap superstars made surprise appearances onstage. Both T.I. and DMX took the stage to the delight of the crowd. Atlanta native T.I., who had just been released from a halfway house two days prior to the show, gave a high-energy performance for the fans. DMX and superproducer Swizz Beatz performed a medley of X's hits, including "Ruff Ryders Anthem," "Get At Me Dog," and "Party Up." The BET Hip Hop Awards will air on October 11th. |
